Just 3 totally unique and secluded lodges are situated on our 80 acres of paradise, each is completely hidden from the others and separated by over 300 metres.  Each lodge is totally unique, and individually themed - one a rainforest yurt; one a Balinese Temple; one a luxury hobbit style lodge in the hill. The love and attention to detail that has been built into each of these creations  has come from the desire to make our guests' stay completely unforgettable.

Our hospitality extends to supplying full breakfast ingredients, espresso machines with fresh organic coffee, and a range of teas included in your tariff. We are also now dog friendly to well mannered pooches. (Click here for our dog rules).

Amazing Wollumbin Palm Retreat's multi award winning lodges are nestled amongst sub-tropical rainforest at the foot of Mt Warning. You will be forgiven for feeling like you are a world away from civilisation when unwinding in one of our very unique and stunning lodges.

Wollumbin (the Aboriginal name for Mt Warning) is the first part of Australia to be touched by the new days sunlight. It is a stunning rock formation created some 20 million years ago by a now extinct massive volcanic eruption. This really is a very special and magical part of the world.

And we are only 35 minutes from the Gold Coast's Coolangatta airport, or approx 80 minutes from the Brisbane International airport. A 40 minute drive will have you in world renown Byron Bay, plus many other gorgeous beaches close by.

Crafted in rock & stone with huge timber slabs, this lodge has a spectacular view of Mt Warning from the full front wall of glass. It is literally part of the landscape with its earth-covered roof, spa & hot shower in the outdoor carved grotto. Very unique, very secluded.
